(Ecumenical Association of Churches in Romania) operates under 3 regional counselling centres in Romania – including Iasi – offering complex social assistance to vulnerable groups. They also host a safe house for victims of human trafficking and two shelters for asylum seekers, which are in close cooperation with the Romanian governmental authorities. Our staff consist of over 30 employees: managers, social workers, legal advisers, psychologists, teachers and auxiliary staff.

AIDROM provides different services to beneficiaries from international protection or third country citizens:
- Romanian language courses and cultural orientation/facilitation
- social counselling to access public services, job market integration, accessing real estate market – rent a home, registration in the public education system, support in recognizing diplomas and skills, registration in vocational courses.
- group social counselling: evaluation of life abilities, use of bank card, shopping within a budget, means of transport, obtaining a driver’s license, renting or buying a home, rights and obligations of the tenant, contracts.
- equivalence of studies / continuation of studies / vocational training / vocational training
- qualification at work – steps, difficulties, costs
- Finding a job, writing a CV / letter of intent, undertaking an interview with the employer (including role play)
- Employment contract, salary and bonuses / benefits
- Taxation, taxes, contributions.
- Accessing public services and benefits without the help of a social worker – informing and preparing beneficiaries to access available social services on their own
