- Reception Office: Help desk for the general public, operators of the services and associations to respond to requests for information and guidance on immigration issues.
- The information provided primarily concerns the regulation on immigration, the practices and procedures for issuing and renewing residency permits, family reunification, access to work and citizenship. Guidance is provided to services on every aspect related to the regular residency of foreign citizens.
- The office also manages applications and issuance of the certificate of eligibility for lodging for the purpose of family reunification, long-term permits and access to work.
- It is also a point of reference for other municipal services (particularly the SsdB Hubs) for information and consultancy on immigration regulation.
- On Mondays it hosts a legal orientation desk for applicants and holders of international protection guaranteed by the SPRAR/Siproimi project (jointly managed by Caleidos and the Modena Municipality).
- Help desks at the Sant’Anna Prison: there are three help desks managed by the Foreigners’ Centre inside the prison: new arrivals’ desk, information desk, discharge desk.
- The primary goal of the service is to be a link and a go-between for the prison administration and the foreign inmate population in order to facilitate communication and the dissemination of information.
